education different then experience

I have got bachelor in commerce degree but my whole experience is in IT. By profession I am computer network engineer(2147). I am worried if CIC will consider my application or not. do anyone have idea?

Education and experience does not necessarily have to be interrelated, though its a plus if it is. To claim points against your experience, you will have to prove that you have performed around 60-70% of the job responsibilities listed under your intended NOC plus you also meet the minimum educational qualifications required for that particular NOC. Hope it helps

Currently they have changed the scenario.....if you look at IT or Finance , they have given the education requirements

I have got international certification like MCSE and CCNA and currently pursuing CCNP. I am not sure if CIC will consider such certifications.

Why dont you do a diploma in IT from renowned institutions & gain some certification like CCNA, MCTS; & then apply for Canadian Immigration.
