Dear Members,

Me and my spouse have recently started with the express entry process. The only steps that we have currently taken is book for IELTS exams. As a next step we would like to have our education assessed through WES. I have a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas (Texas, USA) and Bachelors of Engineering from VTU (Karnataka, India). My spouse is currently a student at the University of Colorado Denver doing her MBA. She has a Bachelors in Computer Science from VTU (Karnataka, India). I have transcripts from UT Dallas and VTU. My spouse has transcripts from VTU. Are these transcripts sufficient along with the degree certificates, for the purpose of education assessment and to maximize our scores at Express Entry. I have heard conflicting information regarding the requirement to secondary education assessment. Would the EE profile be incomplete if we don't get our 10th and 12th standards marks assessed?. Is it a requirement that we have our 12th (PUC in Karnataka) also assessed for completeness? The Canadian government specify secondary school education maybe a requirement so in what cases this might be useful?

Thanks
Vikas

Your high school transcript isn't required. Only your post-secondary school transcripts are required if you would like to declare points. If you have a masters degree in the US, it should be enough to provide your credential assessment for master degree. Your wife may have to provide her bachelor assessment from India as she hasn't finished her MBA yet.
