21 points most likely for a Bachelor's degree. But, in case your degree counts as a professional degree and gets assessed by a professional body instead of a general assessment agency, then you could get 23 points.

Does that mean that i will get 21 points?

Hello, your educational qualification is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Canada so expect to get 21 points.

Good Luck

namaste,
...so the professional qualifications are likely to be assessed by professional bodies, and as i know they already exist are one can get it done now itself. Like i am an engineer and i had get my professional qualifications assessed by CCPE (canadian council of professional engineer) couple of years back. how about if some engineer gets it done now itself so save the time, will that do !!

Why would you want to rush it, especially since CIC is expected to make announcements any day now? Like I have said to you before, there are way tooo many uncertainties right now to do anything, unless you don't mind spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars getting your credentials assessed multiple times or at multiple agencies, and all of that could be a waste if your occupation doesn't appear in the list.

Thank you all for participating in discussion :)

At-least now I am sure that i can get minimum of 21 points !

You are right namaste, better to wait.

Rathod, when I did it, I got a positive result..meaning my engineering qualifications are compatible with theirs.

I didn't get you !

I mean to state that engineering degree of 4 years equivalent in canada so how many point can we consider if professional than 23 and not than 21. My point based on this?
