They have their own ways. They will/might contact your university to get the details & they can get your background info from your university. You shouldn't be worried about how WES will verify. Just send your transcripts and degrees to WES. As of now, the timeline I have seen is long. Good luck !!

Your have to provide the sealed transcripts. If you are considering submitting fake transcripts be prepared for. a 5 year ban from Canada.
