Education as private candidate from Pakistan..seniors pls help

As I am also in the same boat as you. Have done matric, inter and graduation and master as private student and also have to give supplements.

Dear Friends,

First Of All let me teel you my case history.

Applied on : 16th, June 2008.
AOR Recieved: 20th, August, 2008 (From CHC Islamabad)
Documents Required : 31st, Jan 2009
Documents sent : 4th, May 2009

Problem is the same,as duscussed a few of my brothers. I have attended Governement college regularly Both with FA and BA but unfortunately i got suply in FA and after appearing in suplimentary exam i got FA Certificate as a private candidate and same is for BA. i have done my EMBA from preston university Islamabad by regularly attending the classes and Degree is also attested by HEC Pakistan.

Here at this point i got to know by some agents and by the source of this forum just 48 hours before that private education is not considered by CHC. There is also 10 years Gap between my BA and EMBA. I am little confused at this point that what should i do and should i write to high commission in advance the whole situation before the give any response against my application and reject my application at this point.

Please seniors give me some advise. How to dealt with situation.

In Pakistan Private degree is of two types

Degree/certificate from Private college but recognized by HEC (former UGC)
Degree/certificate from private college but not recognized

If you pass Matric or FA degree as private candidate and certificate issued by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, this doesn't called private degree.

Same as BA and MBA if you study in private college and that college is affiliated with any HEC recognized university, your degree will be valid.

CIC don't accept the degrees by private institutions.

Pakistan “Board and Intermediate and Secondary Education” and HEC are government bodies and well recognized by all over the world.

Obviously you got Matric and FA certificate from “BISE” as there is no private body offers Matric or FA,

Hopefully your BA will also be from recognized university.

Your E-MBA is already from HEC recognized university.

About education gap, I didn't see any where that they demand continuous 17 years of study.

You don't need to write any thing to them, they will verify your degrees from their own resources.

Thanks Cut for sharing your valueable remarks at this issue but the problem is that CIC demands for regular students which have studied in any college or University and got regular instructions or classes and a private degree or certificate does't veryfy or proves the requirement. Second important thing is that a few people also have verified at this forum that their cases rejected or their education marked as Zero just due to Private education.

Any ways i have done my graduation from university of punjab and it is again recognized boTH BY INTERNATIONAL BODIES AND HEC as well.

This is very serious issue that many of pakistani's appear as a private student and also apply for immigration and it would also help them in future to prepare themselves accordingly.

i personally know 2 guys who did FA as a private and than B.Com from Punjab College Lahore and MBA from ILM Lahore.
they are happilly living in canada.

did you know any paksitani who was rejected on this base. this mostly happens with other countuires like india, srilanka, bagladesh.
Fortunately our educational bodies are well reputed than other countries.

Yes cut i personally called somebody who gave his cell number at this forum in Karachi.he was graduated from karachi university and was rejected in 2007. And he told me abt the whole situation and secondly i also noticed that a few of the applicants in pakistan got Zero marks bec of their wife's private certificates or degree.

I even called an immigration consultant (Noranex) in lahore and they advised me the same thing with education but i am still waiting for any poitive or negetive response from high commission.

We are talking about private matric or fa degrees. This didn’t exist in Pakistan.

Now the question is “you acquire this degree as private student or as regular student”.

That it is always confusing, I know cases in which they accept this type of degree.

Yes this is what somebody told me at phone....

i am talking about certificate or degree as an external candidate but the certificate and degree attested by some regulated body in pakistan.

Personally as long as my understanding about the law in R73.... It should not be a problem.

But anyways as you have some examples it is really encourging for me to keep goin on and to not loose the hope.

if your occupation is on list than dont delay just apply.
ALLAH will help.
cauz may be in sep 2009 or any other time they will review the list. next time your occupation will be on list or not, no one knows.
so its better to apply

Hi Cut / hot-lier
me also think they wont consider private students even having degree from Intermediate Board (BISE).
May be your friends residing in Canada, having safe score and thats why the got the visa. Later on they told you that IO consider it. You know what i am trying to say is that no body accept open heartily about the incredibility of their things.
