Does anyone know a case of IF they can or have asked person being sponsored their educational credentials??? I.e. Proof of degree, diploma etc?? I would think that this is irrelevant for spousal sponsorship??

Please any input!

Part of the application asked me to list the schools attended, highest level completed, and the number of years spent in school, but I was not asked to provide any proof. I'm from the US, if that matters. Other country specific instructions may be different, I don't know. Allison

I think they absolutely CAN ask for someone's education credentials, especially the applicant's. I think they can pretty much ask for anything they want.

I don't think it is a common occurrence, though. As long as you tell the truth in your application it shouldn't be a problem, though, right? Education level is not a criteria for the spousal class application, so you dont' need to have a certain level of formal education to be approved.

Buffalo CIC has asked me to bring all my educational credentials n employment proof for the interview

What line of work are you in SCsquare?
