And, in addition to that Alberta has been reported to have good job prospects in most job types such as the hospitality industry, the healthcare industry, the construction industry, and others. So, you will be able to get a good job in order to have a roof over your head and warm clothing for the winter months.

Hey Buddy,
You have certainly chosen a right place to land in. Although Edmonton is not that beautiful as compare to other big cities like Toronto and Vancouvar, it certainly offers you a good job prospects. I myself landed in April this year and at immigration you will be sometime only one person to be checked at the Immigration department. I was the only landed immigrants landing via London (UK). It is not a big so-called hub for the immigrants but it is growing. Good place with plenty of jobs with good money and also a bit expensive to be.

i am from edmonton, alberta. the job market is pretty good here. skilled workers are in great demand.
If you are professional, you might want to check out if your credential is recognized in Canada as licensing requirement is pretty strict.
