Based on the pattern yes, whenever someone's medical gets updated in the portal, PPR follows soon.
Mine was expired, it got updated to medical passed on 14th feb. I checked today.

I saw 5 profiles till date who got PPR just after expired medical is passed..you must have a status of " you do not need a medical" right?
I don't think that's correct, i see many people whose medical got extended and nothing then, like mine "February 10, 2022 You passed the medical exam" after that i see nothing

As you mentioned, it was expired so 'You don't need a medical'
My case similar to you I called ircc today my medical is extended on 9th Feb but I still see the status as "you do not need" but the analyst said my security is not started so may be after security check the med will be passed.

May be. I had called them back in January and they told me except eligibility everything is completed for me even security.

Not yet but I was thinking to wait until the end of this month before applying for writ to mandamus. I also applied for GCMS notes from CBSA last month & am hoping to receive them by the end of this month which should give me some sort of clarity on my application.
Finally some movement. Received the BIL for my spouse at last.
