Its extremely bad... typically it adds 1 year to sometimes 10 years of extra processing time.... Edmonton CPC is like ninth circle of hell in IRCC. There is an active petition to rename Edmonton as Judecca due to the fact that so many applications are frozen there.

Don’t do this to me Gandi. Sarcasm gets lost on a forum. Don’t crush my soul.

If it helps, I am also stuck in Edmonton...

Seriously, order GCMS notes and check if you have some review required. Those things delay your application significantly. I think Edmonton is indeed slower than the rest but there are worse things in life. If IRCC needs to consult some 3rd party, it can delay the application significantly. Thats why I say order GCMS notes and see what they are up to.

I have. Been waiting for three months from IRCC and 1.5 months from CBSA.

Good man! CBSA atleast does not ghosts you like IRCC.
You're right. I applied to IRRC on December 8 and to CBSA on December 16. Haven't heard from IRCC ever since, but CBSA sent me a notice of extension exactly on January 16 early morning. Hoping that I'll receive from CBSA this month.
