I only see them working on files which are moved from different VO
My primary VO is edmonton it’s been a month my eligibility is stuck at in progress and security not started

Hey, I believe you'll get it soon. My primary VO is also Edmonton, my eligibility was checked by the secondary VO (Winnepeg) on April 14, and no other updates after that. Even now I already got the portal credential and uploaded my address and photo, my IRCC portal is still the same (MEP on Jan 21, Eligibility and Background are all in progress... never changed)

But my didn’t changed to any other VO office it’s been processing from start (edmonton) med and criminality is passed and eligibility in progress and security not started and I guess it’ll end in the same one
Urs atleast changed to Winnipeg and got the portal mine is stucked there it’s been 6 months soon completing 7 months and no progress yet

From what I understand, primary VO is the one who makes the final decision and issue PPR; secondary VO is the one who really evaluates the applications and checks the eligibility. So mine was actually transferred from Winnipeg to Edmonton. In your case, maybe you have everything done at Edmonton office, which has been marked closed on Google map for a long time. But I think it should be processing now. Many cases show that Edmonton IRCC is moving on since last couple weeks.

Well nobody knows anything except IRCC when they will start processing files faster like they’re doing for ppl who put files from April to June 2021 It’s just getting frustrating day by day

I totally understand how you feel now. Especially when seeing those Feb - Jun applicants getting copr in 3 months. TBH, I only felt jealous and couldn’t congratulate them I think Edmonton IRCC must have closed for a long time (as no one even WFH) and you got bad luck only have this VO processing your application, so got delayed. Have you ordered GCMS or called a MP? I hope by the time IRCC status showing the period of January, you’ll get the portal mail.

I got a ghost update today. And finally my biometrics are linked to my application. I gave my biometrics in February, 2021 and until yesterday it kept showing “you have not given your biometrics, check the messages”.
Starting today it shows my biometrics completion date.

I hope to see some good news soon.
