Edmonton office Test invites for 2020

Hi all, I’m interested to hear about the timelines of people; who applied for citizenship grant in 2020( Jan- July) , and received test invites from Edmonton office! Will appreciate if you reply to this thread, Thank you.

Applied june 2020 still waiting for test. Last I heard from my MP criminality and security passed and I am test ready just don't know when they will send it.

Thanks Das my timeline is same as yours applied in June 2020;however, i moved from Saskatchewan to Edmonton so not sure how long it takes in transit and all that!

Did you move there permanently or just temporarily?

It’s kinda permanent move, I unfortunately updated my address too when i was moving. Heard back in Saskatchewan June people are getting test invites so I changed the boat at a very wrong time!

Who knows maybe you did the right thing, Edmonton seems to be quite slow.

With the new COVID restrictions announced today we just don't know when test invites will start coming in for we Edmonton applicants. Really a long wait indeed!

Yesterday i saw one thread where some stats were shared concerning Citizenship applications and apparently Edmonton has about 10000 applications to process so considering workload and resources and COVID, I’m thinking of an extra year! I wish I’m wrong here but given their pace anything is expected.
