We started processing your application on April 22, 2014.
File is in Edmonton office since beginning of June.

Letter sent to me on the 15th of August 2014 I received it 18th of August. I am scheduled to write my test on September 5th but will be travelling for work so I had to write back with proof of my travels asking to be rebooked...I figure better to let them know in advance than just miss the test.

4.We sent you a notice on August 15, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 5, 2014 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. (Actually missed this appointment and writtent the test on October 17th)

5.We sent you a notice on October 23, 2014 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 20, 2014 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I applied back in January 2011 and I successfully passed the written test on February 2014. Now I am waiting for the oath but to no avail. I sent the paperwork requested for my residency requirement from school and work but it's still taking forever.

I am easily going to be 44 months+ by the time I get an answer. All I can do now is laugh at the slow bureaucratic farce we are being subjected to. Worst thing is that I have been living in this country for 22 years and people who just got here 3 years ago are being called for oath left and right.

I applied in Edmonton in June 2013. I received a letter dated October 22, 2014 to write the citizenship test on November 28, 2014 in Edmonton.

We sent you a notice on September 23, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 21, 2014 at 8:30 AM.

I applied on Sep. 22nd 2014 from Edmonton but never got any confirmation from CIC. when should a expect to get something saying they have my application???

Loonytoon how did you reschedule your application? Did you call CIC and got another appointment? I called CIC and they gave me a fax number to fax my request. Does that seem right?

Give it like 2-3 months & a posting will magically appear when you log in. If it's rerouted to Edmonton, then my advice is..sit back, grab a drink & some popcorns then cool..it takes like forever friend, to see some movements!
