How unlucky we are for being with Edmonton office, one of the slowest in entire Canada.

Received: in October 2020
Stated process: in October 2020
FP requested: in March 2021
PG completed: in April 2021
Wrote the test: in July 2021
Test completed: in August 2021
FP requested again: in March 2022
PG completed: April 27 which is today.
9 months till now no DM and only citizenship test and PG had been completed so far any idea what is the next.
If you think to tell me go see you MP I tried they didn't help me out.

Wow, seems like it really varies with luck how fast your application is processed in Edmonton.
I am wondering on average how long did it take for people to receive oath invites after everything else is completed?

My own timeline:
Application sent: Oct 2020
AOR: Dec 2020
Background verification complete: Mar 2021
Test invite: Nov 2021
Test written: Dec 2021
Test completed: Jan 2022
Language, prohibition, physical presence complete: April 22, 2022

At this point, ceremony is the only "not started" section and everything else is completed. I am thinking of travelling to the US in the summer so I would appreciate if anyone could provide input on wait times, thanks!

I think that its delay just for your fingerprints renewal. So that surely delays in any office.
Once fingerprints updated online and background is complete then email the edmonton office requesting to finalize your application and mention that you are waiting for 2 years etc etc. I wrote email and got the DM in 2 weeks.
Dont demand. Just request. Its effective.

It all varies from one application to the other. Sometimes, emailing them works, sometimes, it doesn't matter. As long as your status is complete, except the oath, be sure of getting an oath date - 2 to 4 weeks after DM. It is slow but it was better than last year for sure. I waited for almost 10 months to get my status completed.
