Like I mentioned before on this thread, my date for oath is set on June 7th according to IRCC call centre but there is no official confirmation yet cic Edmonton. I have same question can we show up for oath after oath date confirmed by ircc agent. I have two weeks to June 7th let us see what happens.
I will share my experience dealing with ircc agents. Ist time i called they confirmed me oath date and time and advised to go for oath even if I don't get letter. 2nd time i called so that agent could send me info what docs to take to oath but i was denied providing any info and just said there is no oath date set and processing time is 12 months. I got panic do i called 3rd time and this time agent confirmed again there is oath date 7th June set for me and still cic had to send you letter. Agent was nice and he did some research that no one scheduled for oath on June 7th in Edmonton has been sent letter yet. He said he will send message to ircc Edmonton either it is glitch in system or delays happening. Agents are very inconsistent .
Shortly still waiting official oath invite from Edmonton.
@quasar81 please let me know if we can go to oath solely on the babsis of info from ircc agents if you come up with answer from somewhere
