Try searching on west jet it should be around $300 to $400 one way and for 1 adult. For 26th June I found $264, one way ticket.

it depends on your needs but i'll try my best to cover everything,

_ clothing according to weather except for outerwear (jackets, kids snow pants, scarfs etc)
_ quilt covers, twin/queen/king size, according to your family size
_ Few Bed sheets
_ medicines for Kids and adults such as Pain Killers, Diarrhea and vomiting, cough and cold (syrups must not be more than 100 ml), ointments like hydro cortisone etc, and something for mouth ulcer like kenalog (i don't know if these are the correct spelling but its available in Pakistan, it has steroids and hence its not suitable for kids, kids may use teething gels instead), small first aid kit with a few bandages, and any other medication that someone uses on regular basis because medical cards can take some time.
_ A big saucepan for desi people
_ A few Gillette Razor blade cartridges as they are expensive here

I want to get this experience letter from RTA, I just have some follow-up questions:

1. I really want to get this experience letter but I don not have my passport with me, do I need my passport or my driving license is enough?
2. How long is the processing time to get the experience letter from RTA?
3. How long is the processing time for the attestation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

Yes, attestation is required. I know of someone who submitted license and experience letter to UAE embassy in Canada. It was returned promptly after attestation. CAD 50 fee were returned too. Visitors can drive in Canada with the driving license of their country, for period of one month. I am not sure whether this holds good for immigrants, as well. There is no requirement of international license.
I got experience letter from RTA, Dubai 2 weeks back. The lady who issued the letter informed me that for Alberta, attestation is required from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I got this done. One has to pay fee of AED 160. Their office is in Bur Dubai, near Indian Consulate. Hopefully, i won't be required to get it attested by UAE embassy - if better sense prevails.

I used the metro and get off at "Emirates station" (red line) RTA is exactly on the left side (DO NOT GO TO RTA Headquatrers as the certification is issued in the RTA "old building") go to the reception and they will give you the number. . .make sure to have a photocopy of your driver's license (back/front), passport and visa copy (they did not asked me for original passport). Certificate will be provided to you in 10 to 15 minutes. . .

I dont know if it is mandatory to have it attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. . but i did mine any way and got it attested within 1 hour. .

If ur interested to have it attested. . . you can ride the metro from Emirates Station (after getting RTA certificate) and get off at the Burjuman station . . Ministry of Finance is 8 to 10 minutes walk from the station. . once you enter the building they will guide to pay AED 155 (have the exact amount - the line is long and sometimes they do not have changed) to the cashier before they give you number. .. after waiting for your turn it will take only 3 minutes to have it attested. . .

I always used the metro coz sometimes its hard to find parking around RTA and Ministry of Finance area. . .the only problem is that you will sweat alot due to the current weather. .
