Hello people

Is it possible to edit the express entry profile? I have received the OOPNP PT interest letter. I need to edit the POF amount. In any which case I intend to keep it above the threshold limit of CAD 12,000 for an individual applicant.

You can edit your EE profile till you get and ITA (and in the case of POF, even after you get an ITA).

Thnx mate...so any change in my POF will not have any impact on my existing EE application or OOPNP application?

Unless you reduce it below the required amount, No impact.

You can edit your profile after getting a PT. Unless you're trying to change something which makes material difference to the circumstances which led you towards getting the PT in the first place. That could be seen as misrepresentation.

What corrections do you want to make?

Thanks for the reply! My consultant first set up my EE profile and added my education in the computer and information technology field. It can be correct because my transcript can show I pursued computing subjects as a sub-program, but my diploma is a bachelor of arts. I'm considering changing it to arts to be on the safe side in case I would ever need to present my documents. My WES Canadian equivalence is a bachelor's degree.
In theory, my CRS score wouldn't change, but I'm just worried about worst-case scenario glitches like profile ineligibility or losing the PT. I already submitted to OOPNP.

PS: I don't trust that consultant anymore.

Go ahead and make this change. It won't make a material difference to your application.

Also when it comes to CIC, trust the written word. Period.

Yes, I have tried, and it was fine (however my edit was not a score altering thing). When I first called OOPNP, they had advised that as long as my score doesn't decrease, it should be fine.
As a precaution, I suggest taking the screenshot of your PT letter of interest, just in case.
Hope this helps!
Good luck.

I have edited a couple of times with no issues. As long as the edits don't make your points to go below 400 (criteria for PT), you should be fine. Just make sure that the profile goes back to "submitted" state after the edit.

Thanks for the assurance! You can be sure I made a screenshot the minute I received it, but my concern is that it's only the applicant's name and date sent that are displayed, and the application number is not mentioned anywhere on the same page. Nothing we can do about it though, it's the CIC's system. :)
