Many thanks..i been here for 5 and 1/2 yrs in canada..does it make any changes?? I didnt leave canada during this period.

As protected person only can count half day per each day lived here. Until you reach one year. So it means, if you live here two years as protected person, you will have one year counting for your citizenship.
If you live more time here as protected person, it wont count. So you must live 2 years more here for can apply to the citizenship.
