In April, a lot of eCOPRs will be released by IRCC as they return from using their remaining leave due for use until Mar 31

Photo should be taken last 6 months. Dont get risk. It makes your processing time longer. Its not expensive in walmart.

Nope, the photo that you're gonna submit must be taken within the last 12 months. That's what it was written on my P2.

Question for those who received their pr cards? Is the validity of the pr card the same as the ecopr??? My ecopr was received by Feb 07 2024 and it expires by late 2025. I was wondering if the PR card will have the same expiry date or it will be longer??? Those who received their PR cards Please share your experience

PR card are issued for five years. So answer to your question is yes, of course, it will be valid longer than your ECOPR.

Ecopr Feb 07. My application is being processed at Etobicoke office. I have been waiting for PR card since then. I called the immigration number. They sent an inquiry to expedite it. I don’t understand why it takes too long to issue a PR Card!!!!
