Yes, you can potentially qualify for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) if you work full-time in this role. However, since you don't have an ECE diploma, your work experience may be assessed based on your job duties and responsibilities rather than formal education. PR pathways to explore include the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) under Express Entry, where having skilled Canadian work experience can be beneficial, or the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in Ontario, which may have specific streams for in-demand occupations like early childhood education. You might also consider getting a credential assessment to strengthen your application, especially if you're aiming for more competitive programs.
