jerry_canada said:Dear Babbu, Jaggy> Thank you for your replies...I have a few more questions(if these questions have been already answered, pls point me to those threads)...pls share me your advice/suggestions...
1. I have a travel history of atleast 6 countries and atleast 24 visits(not counting 'transits') in total; my wife has a similar travel history. But all visits of ours are either business/tourist visits(not exceeding 15 days per trip) not on 'work-visa'. I understand that only when one stays(or has been working with a work visa) in a foreign country for a longer period of time(unlike 15 days) would likely to get the processing/back-ground checking delayed...is my understanding correct?
2. My NOC is 0213(no longer listed) would that cause any delay to the existing processing?
3. When I check 'processing times'(at CIC website)...I see '18' months(based on Complete Package) for 'New Delhi'(Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010)...I have 2 questions...
a. My complete package was sent to NDVO on Jan 2011 and AOR received on Jan 2011; so for my case, the processing time is not listed yet? Am I correct?
b. Is the processing-time(18 months for NDVO) initiated after the final/complete application is submitted OR from the time the ECAS status changes to 'In-process: we have started processing application from <<month & year>>'?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jerry
1. Since u have a extensive travel history....it may take time for BC and hence delay ur overall processing time(u don't need to submit PCC, since u have mentioned that u didn't stay in any of those 6 countries for longer than 6 months).
2.ur Noc is not the cause of any delay.......But MI2 applicants are not being processed at priority.....MI3 is at the priority list.
3.a.The processing time currently is not even listed for MI3 applicants, but u can take 18 months as approx. processing time for ur appln(it may exceed though for reasons unknown to us).
3.b.18 months is the total processing time.....right from the time it reached CIO to u gettin a visa
