Hi Guys,

Like everyone knows, Usually Ecas gets updated once a week on Tuesday (time?!?), However I saw cases were ecas get updated for some people on other days. So instead of keeping on checking the ecas everyday, maybe anyone who gets Ecas update posts the date in this thread so others would stop checking ecas (for couple of days) when they know it was updated and there was no update for them.

What do you think?

ECAS has always been updated more than once a week - I have no idea why the website says that because it's simply not true.

My understanding is that it updates overnight based on completed work from the day before, so any day could have an update from Tuesday-Saturday. So it's not worth checking more than once a day, but if you suspect you are close to one of the landmark decisions (AOR, SA, Decision Made, or going in process on either the sponsor's application of the application for permanent residence), it's definitely worth checking once a day, Tuesday through Saturday.

Yeah Thats what Iam doing anyway, but I though we could have this thread as a tracker for the updates.

Remember that timezones play a part too. In my own personal case I checked ECAS twice on September 7th 2015, and on the first time I checked my permanent residence application status was application received. That was in the morning.

The second time was in the afternoon and the status had changed to in process.

So if you are checking from a country which has a significant time difference then you may see updates.

In my case, we received the PPR last Friday and it still said IP until Monday night.
I checked today and it says DM, but none of the notes lines were updated or new ones added.

Major thing to remember is the time zone difference.
