Hi everyone,
My application is being processed in Kitchener and I did my online test on December 3, 2020.
Today, I checked ECAS and saw the following update:

"We sent you correspondence on March 4, 2021. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

Based on what I have heard and the fact that my status hasn't changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made", I am assuming this is a finger print request? Not sure if anyone is in the same boat. Also, I have not received any correspondence by e-mail even though all of my correspondence has been by e-mail thus far. Should I then be expecting something in the mail? Do finger print requests typically arrive that way? Could they be requesting something else other than finger prints? Should I be concerned that I did not receive anything by e-mail yesterday (March 4th) when they said correspondence was sent?

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Phil

This will most likely be a finger print request as majority of the applicants are getting this request recently.

You should receive their email soon.
Keep an eye on junk folder too.

Thank you, will do!
So FP requests definitely arrive by e-mail and not snail mail? The reason I am worried is that I changed addresses in the past month or so and although I did notify IRCC, I am a little paranoid that it may get sent to my old address.

I believe request is through email only. Same as receiving AOR through email.

Hi,

I know someone who got same update on the same day as you got yours and they have also not received any email yet. They have still not done the test. But the good thing is that these requests mean that the application is moving. I am pretty sure that it is going to be a fingerprints request. Good luck.

Not me but they got fingerprint request letter in email about 3 days after the request showed up in tracker and ECAS.
