Hello Friends,
A lot of people who are still waiting for MR are getting a third line added to the ECAS status. Does anyone know what does this really mean? Does this mean they have finished reviewing our application ? I am Sept 9 applicant still waiting for MR, haven't heard anything after AOR

This status means nothing, it a regular ecas update.

Ive had medical request and request for documents and another request for additional details, and I still don't have that line in my ecas so I wouldn't read too much into it

I have seen on this forum people who received this ECAS line are also receiving RPRF and/or passport request. I have received nothing after "medical received", and I don't have this line of "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application".

Not sure if people from Visa exempt countries will ever have this additional ECAS line.

I'm from a visa exempt country and I had not one but two lines stating "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application". :)

To be honest, my suspicion is that this means very little - maybe a quirk of the computer system that CIC uses, the same way you get a lot of "ghost" updates when you're waiting for a work permit. At the most it may indicate that someone somewhere has opened your file, but I don't know if you can read too much into it.
