Guys,

This is the ECAS status online, what does this mean that all docs are ok and their processing for medicals??

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXX, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on XXXX, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on XXXX, 2009. The London England office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on XXXX 2009.

The status says In Process, does this mean that Visa Office review has been done ? The last line was added 2 days ago?? Like all the docs were ok, they did the checks and balances and are now processing for medicals, interview etc???

i think (i could be wrong), this is when they verify your PCC, etc. I am purely guessing all this from what I have read in this forum.

Oh that's no problem at all.

At this stage i'm assuming that they have done the employment verification, and high school and university degree verification right? Otherwise they wouldn't process the application right?

I dunno no one of my employers has been contacted?

Kind regards,

Alice.

alice,
i think the visa office have only checked your submitted documents and if you reached the 67 points.
they have not done the security and background checks yet. they're going to do it when they start processing your application and your fees become non refundable.

To clarify this further, I think i found out exactly what is going on.

As far the Ministrial Instructions is concerned that is done, the yhave determnined that My job and Noc they are looking for match.

Now they will process to determine:

Minimum Requirements: it mentions that an applicnt has to have at least 1 year work experience. this should be a breeze for all aplicants since they have aready done the review you have to had at least 1 year on the list anyways?

Selection Criteria: 67 Points +

Sufficeint Funds: 14,000 CD $ depending on how many applicatns

Admissibility: They will check the validity of the PCC's and do background checks on all family memebers listed on the application whether they are a security risk to Canada. Plus medical as well.

This is the meaning of review has been done and started processing...
