ecas status still "Recieved by Visa office" - no updates yet

Guys -

I have submitted 120 days documents on 20th Dec, 2009. ecas is already updated to "Received by Visa office" but from then there is no update yet. might be possibility of delay due to holidays in between. But, any approx idea how much time it will take further from this status to next one ?

Usually a weekly update is done on ECAS. Next update can be as "In process".

They update usually on Tuesday... check it end of day tomorrow.

sorry to say that, i think you have to wait for atleat 2 months (after the date when 120 days are over) for medicals, PP, RPRF demand...

I think it means that Sydney, N.S. office has not sent your file to your visa office yet. Your visa office cannot update your e-cas status because they have not received your file fron Sydney,N.S. Once they receive your file from Sydney, they will update e-cas. Or maybe they have not received it yet. Are you shure it got there? Did you track it ?

No..No.. It already says that - "Received by Visa Office"

And when I click on that link - it says that - They already transferred my file to New Delhi on September 22, 2009.

I am asking that - after "Received by Visa Office" status how long it takes further to update request..

I think it means that Sydney, N.S. office has not sent your file to your visa office yet. Your visa office cannot update your e-cas status because they have not received your file fron Sydney,N.S. Once they receive your file from Sydney, they will update e-cas. Or maybe they have not received it yet. Are you shure it got there? Did you track it ?

yea it is received by the visa office on 17th december.i track it through fedex tracking number.
nd secondly syndey NS, has transfered my file to visa office london. coz before i sent my full application to visa office i had a case specific inquire from visa office london. and they said that your file has been transfered to london visa office.
so now?

I already told you to pls wait for 2 months, to be In Process....

Hi Roger55,
Please could you help me with my situation, i have seen the way you have explained it. I sent my full application to Visa Office in June and i received AOR in July. Since then i have not received any mail from the Visa Office and i have no idea if my file has been transfer From Sidney to Local Visa Office.

My E.cas is still showing the same old information from Nova Scotia , secondly i sent a change of contact address notification mail from the Client application status and till today my E. Cas is still showing the same old address.

I am so confused of what to do at the moment.

Please advice me on what to do.
