Is it normal for a test invite not to show up on ecas?

I received my test invite email on November 5th and 3 days later nothing is showing online.

Obviously the most important thing is to have the test invite at all, but from what I read it seems standard for it to appear online on the ecas list of events.

well my ecas has been updated after a day of receiving test invitation email.

I don’t think one needs to worry on this. I got my test invite email for mid Nov about a month ago but ecas doesn’t show that till now

It updated this weekend to show the test invite. So about 5 days after the email.
I received my test/interview invite on Oct 9 through email.

Test scheduled for Nov 14 - barely two days away but it’s still not showing in eCAS.
Is it okay?

I'm sure its absolutely fine. The only thing that matters is that they issued you the test and interview invite. You could mention it tomorrow at your interview.

Good luck!

It is now 10 days after we received E-Mail with test invitation but still no update showing on ECAS. Test is next week, Dec. 5th. Is that something unusual?

Some officers are not as diligent in updating eCAS. That could be the reason of the discrepancy. You can always call the call centre to confirm your appointment. While the call centre does not have a lot of details on your case, they *do* have visibility into your scheduled appointments like test and oath invites.
