Ecas status doubt

Hi again!

I'm writing this post because I came from checking my Ecas right now.

Until now it said "decision made"

When I entered the details I could read

Received.... date
Started processing... date
Medicals received
A decision has been made and you will be contacted
We sent you a letter (AIP) blah, blah, this day...

and now , under that line of the letter there is a

A decision has been made and you will be contacted


Again?

What does this mean? Does anybody know? is this a bad sign or anything?

someone else who has actually been through the process may be better able to comment, but from reading the boards, that language 'a decision has been made and you will be contacted' is standard no matter what the outcome, not necessarily a sign of a refusal. Probably means just what it says - your application is done processing and you should be be getting a letter or email (depending on your visa office) in the next few days...

I am assuming this is a decision on whether you can Sponsor/be sponsored and have an OWP?? Hopefully its good news..so annoying to see it on E-CAS and have to wait until you get your letter to find out the decision ??? Hang on in there..doesnt mean its bad news!

I got this and all it was was my medicals dont know how they enter this stuff in there but when i called CIC they told me this is what it related to, then 3 weeks later i got DM.

You also get this about AIP, and other things i guess there's no set meaning to it, it just means a decision has been made on something on your application

Decision Made and it's been over a month!!!!!!! They contacted me on the 15th, after I e-mailed them and told me we would be receiving a letter soon. I've contacted my local MP to find out what could be the holdup. I don't know what is their Decision. Up to this point they've been very timely. Sent from Missisauga to Canadian Embassy in Ankara. In Process, Interview scheduled for my husband, In Process,
and then Decision Made, May 6th until now. This is messed!!!!!! You'd think a letter would take a few day,wouldn't you? And we haven't a clue about anything...

checking your timeline about AIP means you have been approved to sponsor or be sponsored. good luck

Thanks guys.. I'm sorry I'm always so nervous about this. But I believe that anyone in this forum must understand why.

The immigration process is a pit of anxiety. You're not really in peace until you finish the last step.
