hi all,
plz metioned ur status.....if there is ny change in ur eCAS status in 11th Aug, 2009.....change in status is an importent motivation for every applicant.........i think every1 would be agree with this.......so all d best to every1 n wish every1's status will go to next level tomorrow.............

My Ecase status changed on 10 Aug at 5 Pm Indian Standard Time.

Oh no it doesn't!! and do not count on it. It will never change. I check/ed it everyday two three times "hoping that a miracle will happen", but I will not bother anymore, I will just wait for sth in the mail from Buffalo.

I do not think it works that way either with Buffalo. Everyone who has an application in Buffalo office complains that there is no update!

I agree with Maple, the eCas has lot to do with your file but if it changes - many applicants experience shows that the e-cas doesn't change even after landing in Canada and still says in process. Not because mine is not changing I am saying this, I still check once a week to see if there is a miracle (as Maple said).

Ecas is working fine for the people who applied after Nov'08 - with the older cases, sometimes it works and sometimes not, it depends on the visa office and officer. No need to put your trust on it especially if you are a old case applicant.
