ECAS - Spouse outside Canada under PNP

I am sure there would be people in this forum who have been in the same situation as I do.

Can someone please confirm if the principal applicant is inside Canada and application being processed at CPP Ottawa, would the ECAS only works for Principal applicant inside Canada or for both? Currently my ECAS is working but not of my spouse.

My ecas shows "Medical results have been received", does that mean my wife medical has been received too.

May be applicants who don't have spouse, when there medical result has been received, how does ecas show that...Either "Medical results have been received" or "Medical result has been received"

While researching on this forum, I stumbled on your question about how the medical results for spouse are reflected on ECAS when it's done outside Canada. I am still trying to find an answer to this question, did you have any luck?

It would say Medical results have been received.
There is no information for spouse updated separately.

It was show only in your ecas because you are the principle applicant. When it shows medical results have been received, it means you and your wife have passed the medicals

I have applied with my wife as dependent. Like you, I can only access my profile on ECAS. So i guess we are good.

Hello all,

In case of PNP, only principal applicant ecas works. If it shows medical received on ecas, that doesn't mean they have received your spouse's medical results too. Mine was updated on 14th may but when I got my notes; they received my wife's medical on later date. It's best to contact to ottawa office; when I did, they replied saying they have recieved both medicals.

Hi,

The received dates for you and your spouse would obviously be different as you would have done in canada and spouse in India .
On ECAS it gets updated only when they receive both you and spouse medicals.
