I have the opposite problem. I applied on February 25, 2013, and on September 3rd I got PPR. That was 31 days ago. However, my ecas status has never changed to DM or even In Process. I emailed CIC about a week ago to confirm that they had received my scanned passport copy (Visa exempt, so no need to send physical passport). Still no response. I had assumed they got the passport though because I had sent a change of address as well, and my ecas showed the change a week later. However, ecas shows no change in my status. Wish they'd at least change my status to "In Limbo". 
Meanwhile, a lot of others who applied at the same time I did are already getting their DM's and/or COPR's. I don't have a complicated case either. All documents were sent with the app, and they have made no other document requests and they told me in the PPR email that they didn't expect to need anything else or even an interview. So the wait goes on.
