Hi

I was checking the application of my wife and kids today and the received line in the summary table disappeared, we have the inProcess line only. Their application was submitted 1 year ago in MTL.

My application that was submitted 3 month ago still has 2 lines in the summary table.

Anyone experienced the same?

Applicant Citizenship Application Status
[My Name] In Process
[My Name] Received

it does happen for everyone when the file is sent to the local office

@chakrab

But it says both IN PROCESS AND RECEIVED from the day 1 and as per the explanation given IN PROCESS means that it has been sent to the local office.

Please clarify.

chakrab, the website is very misleading.
The received row does not indicate a local office transfer.
No one has any idea what this step could mean.
My application for example was transferred Jan 2014. But the received link disappeared a while back.
I wouldn't pay any attention to this.

It happened to all of us. You can call the CIC and they might give you more details about what is happening to your file.

I think it may just be how they program their system to drop this line after a certain period of time.

I agree, i also think it's all about the way the system was programmed.

I believe it means someone in Sydney started entering data from your application, does the residence calculation etc. in GCMS.

Surely it means a certain action on file.. however do they key in all the application info at a certain point? guess rather scan with an OCR and double check for scan errors..

Looking at GCMS notes, it seems like someone in Sydney has to enter each one of your declared abscences.

The disappearing is linked to a time frame from your application going into processing...this time is some CIC determined period. Get your GCMS notes and see if there was any activity on the date this happened..most likely there will be nothing. Sidney does input all declared absences and lists the total physical presence days.

Can somebody give some advice?

When do we get received line back ?

Is there any chance to get the test notification in 2 to 3months from this type of activity.
