Right now am in 3Rd one(In process) my ECAS changed to in process on April 1st.

how long after ''application received'' did it change to ''in process''?

Hey curious123, it's changed from in progress to application received not in process to application received. In process is the 3rd step. Application received to in process is the 3rd step then finally decision made is the last step.

Got response from IntoCanada who got PPR REQUEST last week.

He is saying as follows regarding ECAS status .....

Before PPR, ecas update was application received and medicals received.

Post PPR, another 2 lines got added one is started processing on... And second is decision has been made. My ecas update was somewhat different from what another people have seen.

I don't know how cic assessing the applications and I got ITA in first draw but I saw some people who got pr in second draw too.wait and see.......

Yes you are right I saw 2 people from third draw :-[

Is this info anywhere on CIC's website? Or is this sequence of statuses derived solely from experience? I'm asking because I couldn't find any info on the "In progress" stage in ECAS help.

I feel ECAS sequence is right ?

1. In process

Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun.

2. Application received : CIC created the file and enter all our application details.

3. In process :: if they request passport or may be they might go to step 1 for eligibility

But what I seen here under EE once ECAS status changed to Inprogress they definetly should have get ppr request immediately as they need to finalize most of the case within 6 months ...



4. Decision made : after formalities ECAS update as decision made ..

Hey mine changed from In process to Application received.... I never had anything called in progress...

Some one told me once ECAS changed from Aplication Received to In process will get PPR With in 45 days. I don't know is it right? But he got his PPR request in 38 days so will see
