Hello all,
In the first half of this year, the EE system had a lot of glitches. For example, the ECAS submission date and processing start date were not really accurate.
But finally most of these glitches have been rectified. I believe that the ECAS - In process ( Atleast for inland applicants ) does not necessarily mean that the PPR is on the way.
It simply means that the application has been deemed complete and is in process !

Just an opinion. What do you guys think ?

ECAS status In Process for inland applicants does not guarantee PPR but a hint of it though.
Application is scanned to be complete and now the verification of the facts presented by the applicant is in progress. If everything comes out true and medicals are clean, PPR has taken flight.

According to CIC website this status indicates one of the following conditions:

Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Best of luck.....

Mate, how did you know that your medical passed when you can't even access ECAS? Its just so frustrating like this. :(

MyCIC has a statement for medical results.

My ECAS updated to in process on August 19, 2015

ECAS never say medical passed. About medical passed or in progress you would know from MY CIC. ECAS says "Medical result have been received"

Well, it says so on myCIC page that it has been passed so I assumed that it has. I could be mistaken.

Ecas has been a notoriously wonky system from the day it was implemented, years ago. Don't stress about what it says!!
