Is it normal to have PPR request before Decision Made?
I received PPR on March 16th but I just looked on my CIC and my status is still "review in progress-BG check in process".

Seems like everyone is getting DM first.

Seems like everyone is getting DM first.

Most people are probably seeing DM in ECAS which stopped working for many of us a long time ago. I lost ECAS access in October/November last year and haven't had access since by my process completed just fine. As my myCIC......mine didn't really updated until after I got PPR and the process was basically over. i wouldn't even bother checking myCIC. If you've gotten PPR then eventually it's just going to change to change to DM/Application Complete/etc.

I submitted passport to Abu Dhabi Embassy on 22-Sep2016 but still not received back.

Can any one tell that normally how much time they are taking for visa stamping.

As per letter it is 4 weeks but I come to know that they are issuing before that.

Any idea!!

Did you received now your passport? I submitted last oct 5 thru vfs qatar and abu dhabi received oct 9. My ecas changed from in progress to decision made last oct 19. Waiting for my passport too.

They say it's 30 days on an average. You will soon have ur passport back. Just pray.

I was hoping to find out the same. My ecas just changed to DM last week and haven't received any mail so I am wondering the same. Most of the posts on this forum seem to be from 2015 and they all talk of 2-4 weeks post DM. I hope it's quicker now.

Same here, Got my DM last May 26 and somehow I haven't got an email yet. I hope it is quicker than before. I was expecting it within this week but I guess it'll take longer.

I have come across quite a few people who received DM on the same date if not a day or so before as well. Thus far no-one has received any PPR mail, that I have read of. Tomorrow will be a week do hope to hear something.
Post DM update wait is more torture than the wait before that.

Hey. I called up CIC on 19th June and the agent said that my application has been approved on 19th June only. How long does it take for PPR after the application has been approved? Its been 9 days now. Should I call them again?

Hi, I have submitted my application under Ontario PNP- CEC-Inland with AOR 19th Jan'17)
the status shows, Medical passed, don't need interview, fingerprint. We are processing background check.

How long it takes to PPR from here?
