Ecas confusion

I lost access to ecas for over a week now. I decided to go the 'long route' in finding the links to the ecas site, and this is the page it sends me to:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

The only problem, there is no family class any longer, only skilled workers.

Are we not able to check on-line for family class sponsorship any longer?

EDIT: Never mind. You have to select the Sponsorship option, and not Permanent Residency - still does not work though.. What the hell is going on?

Most people are reporting the same - ecas is down, and hopefully will be up again soon. In the meantime, as always with CIC: patience.

It's just frustrating that they don't even put a note on their website saying it's down, and to try back later.

ive been able to check in cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp , choose sponsorship... are u getting any error message? i have no problems getting status there
