Hi all,

So, I landed on June 7 at the Peace Arch (Douglas) crossing. The same day, I checked the ECAS status and it said "Decision Made", i.e. the "Complete" status change had not yet appeared. However, I checked last night and today (June 9), and it won't recognize me. I tried using my CLient ID, my application number, as well as my COPR number, it still won't recognize me. Is this normal? Has this happened to anybody else?

Cheers

One is prone to understanding if, and only if, one enables the thought process to take over, rather than narrow-mindedness :). It is not a matter of paranoia; rather, it's a matter of things procedural -- it's essential, I think, to be aware of state changes in a process in order to archive whatever information you possess. It's a good practice which shall also serve you in life, naturally, if you are open to educating yourself further, which seems dubious to me.

Ecas is only for applications still in process. You are a permanent resident now, file closed and as such ecas is no longer applicable to you. Coongrats and enjoy all the benefits that come with it. ;D

same happnes with me.

In my case: when I landed, I could not log into ecas for 2/3 days -the system did not recognize me.

But after that I regained access back and it showed COMPLETE status

"There are several reasons why you may not be able to see your case status online via CAS. They include the following:
..
..
..

The application is no longer in progress: Once a decision has been made, the application remains in CAS for a certain number of days and then is removed from the system. The length of time an application stays in CAS depends on the type of application.

Permanent Residents applications will stay in CAS for 180 days after the applicant has landed."
