Hi, I have a BTEC National Diploma in Computer studies (2 year full time course) studied in the UK 1994>1996; and an MCSA (Microsoft certified systems administrator (2 year course)) completed in 2010.

I have used these qualifications for an Australian Skills assessment (for immigration) and they both have passed the mark in being regarded as comparable to an Australian 2 year diploma.

It looks as though if I do have an ECA for a 2 year course validated (by ECA, ICAS etc.) (i.e. an ECA which regards my qualification as similar to that of at least '1 * Canadian 2 year diploma' I will have 481 points (FSWP).

I’ve posted and read a few posts in regard to a BTEC National Diploma and an MCSA not being assessed as equivalent to Canadian level (but this seems slightly bizarre (at least in the case of the BTEC National Diploma) as both qualifications have been deemed sufficient\comparable to Australian standards. Also Im wanting to know that If I can get a valid ECA which organisation would be the best to approach/apply to (i.e. WES, ICAS, or any other....)....

Any help much appreciated..
