ECA - WES - No individual marksheets - Please help

Hi,

I live in Canada. Today I received my transcripts in mail. University Sealed and signed but the envelope is not sealed. We have to do it ourselves (that's how it works at my university). My university doesn't provide transcript for individual marksheets, only consolidated marksheets. They provide an explanation letter called 'Notification of non-issuance of semesterwise marksheet' - I don't have this in the envelope I received.

I have the unsealed envelope from university with university seal (stamp) and officer signature with my transcript (consolidated ) and degree certificate both attested by the university official.

Can I put copies of unattested individual marksheets in the envelope, seal it and send it to WES? or should I just send the transcripts and degree certificate in the sealed envelope and the individual marksheets separately in the main envelope that I'm sending to WES?

Can someone (on your behalf) take semesterwise marksheet to your university and get it attested? Also when they put the documents into envelop you can seal it in front of them and ask them to put a stamp on the seal.

If this is not possible, then submit self attested semester wise marksheet along with college attested documents. Also include a letter of explanation explaining process in your university. WES may be aware of university specific processes.

The only issue I have is that I don't have my original documents with me. They are in India. I have printed copies of my marksheet here, but not sure how to get them attested without the originals. Any suggestions?

I have just started reading about ECA. I read that in canada, the do it for educational equilancy and for that we need eca. However, my general question is, how would i know if my Masters would be accepted and ECA would be given to me or my fee would go to waste. I mean i am not sure if i am eligible or not. some one told me that not all the MBA programs in the world are accepted for express entry system.


Please leave a reply. as on the cic website, it is stated that,: how to get your ECA. rather if It is worth applying or not.

It would be great if you can reply to this pls, my friend did bachelors from autonomous college, he has got all mark sheets from autonomous college, and degree certificate from university, he doesnt have consolidated certificate, would that be problem? he cant apply for ECA if he cannot get consolidated certificate? your inputs help us
