Hi !

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Pakistan. (MBBS, FCPS). My wife is a canadian national. She is currently staying with me here in Pakistan. We have 2 kids born here in Pakistan, but i have got their nationality paperwork done & they both are Canadian nationals now. It is very difficult for my wife to go there and sponsor me for canadian immigration.

So, i am opting for Express entry program. there are few queries:

1. Please give a list of documents required for only MBBS verification through MCC.

2. MCC are charging 170 CAD for each credential verified, What will be the total fee (including account fee of 290 CAD) if i only submit MBBS + required documents for verification?

3. Has FCPS in Opthalmology got any equivalent in Canada? What will be the list of documents to be submitted & fee accordingly, in case i submit FCPS diploma as well.

Regards!

Hello
I am a doctor/medical graduate and in the process of completing my express entry profile.
I needed some information regarding ECA.
I have two degrees i.e an MBBS degree and a BSc English degree.
I know I have to get my medical/MBBS degree verified through MCC.I have made my account on physicians apply to proceed with the process but do I have to make an account on ECFMG as well or MCC will proceed on their own?
Secondly my BSc degree will be verified by WES or IQAS but this way I’ll have two different sources verifying my documents.
How do I submit both verified credentials sources when I apply for express entry?
As we know I get more score if I submit both my degree.
Please guide me regarding my queries.
Regards

If your medical degree is designated as a professional degree then you will not get extra points for the bachelors. If your medical degree is designated as a bachelors then you will want the other degree assessed. You can still have WES assess the bachelors as it doesn’t matter if you use different ECAs.

I'm from Pakistan and graduated from sheikh zayed medical college. My medical degree is MBBS degree and I don't have any post graduate degree or diploma yet.
So my MBBS degree will be considered a bachelor's degree or a professional degree?

Well most medical degrees are assessed as a professional degree but you will not know until MCC completes the assessment & determines if it is equivalent to a Canadian medical degree.

the ECA Report for MBBS Degree from MCC states Canadian Equivalency Established: "Doctor of Medicine." Does tat mean Bachelors? or Masters?
