Hello,

I am just starting the process of getting my education credentials assessed for applying through Express Entry as a FSW.
I decided to choose WES for this service, although I am beginning to regret this based on the reviews I've read.

It says on their website under the required documents from the United Kingdom, "If you have completed one or more years of post-secondary study, you do not need to submit any secondary school documents with your application.". This being the case, I have only submitted my Degree certificate and my University has submitted my transcripts (still in transit). However, looking at the other organisations who offer ECA, they all seem to require both secondary and post-secondary documents. So I have a few questions.

Firstly, has anyone successfully used WES without any (or many) problems?

Is an ECA of my secondary education credentials definitely not required by CIC for Express Entry?

Thanks

I'm not sure which reviews here made you regret this decision but historically WES has been the most reliable assessment provider across the board.

If you have at least a Bachelors degree, you are not required to get school education credentials assessed.

All the best!

I have done ECA from WES Toronto and everything was okay. I sent my Bachelor degree certificate and arranged the marklist transcripts to be sent from university to WES. After WES received all these docs, I got ECA in 7 working days. Also i didnt submit any secondary credentials.

WES is one of the best, affordable and widely used.

You don't need secondary education credentials

Hi Am11! My University sent my transcripts to WES via DHL about 2 weeks ago I believe, although I don't know the exact date.

Yesterday the status on my WES account changed to 'Documents received - review in progress'. This must be the transcripts they've received as my certificate only left the UK yesterday (after posting it Monday).

20 days is quite a long time. Could you contact your University and ask if they have a tracking number?

Hi James , thanks for the reply,
Yes i do have the tracking number and its status is item sent to the country of destination on 15th oct until now no update in my WES acc, so it might take longer because it was registered post , if DHL took 20 days so registered might take a month.
I have one more question that my college didn't sign on the envelope but it does have official seal, what do you that might be a problem or not?

IIRC sign or seal, either of the two is good enough. In my case, my bachelors had signatures on the envelope and masters had a seal. Didn't face any issues in WES.

Thanks cyronn , This gave me a hope atleast and now lets wait till my mail..reaches them.
Do you have any idea how long it takes for registered post from EU (cyprus)?
