ECA report - wrong evaluation - options?

Hello,

Nothing new relevant to the topic that we were discussing. But my application is now on-hold because of a specific scenario for me. IMT Nagpur (from where I did my MBA) is now an autonomous institute, but at the time that I had done my MBA, it was affiliated with Burdwan University. I had submitted my transcripts via IMT Nagpur, but IQAS has asked to submit those via Burdwan University. So, I'm trying to get the transcripts through Burdwan University now & thus, the entire process is derailed by another 3-4 months.

Do you have the update now whether IQAS acceptee IMT Nagpur? I am looking at the trail and have an understanding that WES wont recognise IMT Nagpur. If you have any info regarding this - please let me know here or ping me @ 9890573551

I know a person from IMT Nagpur 2007-2009 MBA batch recently got his evaluation as masters from IQAS. So, you should proceed with IQAS. My evaluation is still under process.

Hello all,

An update. I've received the evaluation from IQAS & they have considered my MBA as a valid Masters. So, it is possible to get better output from IQAS, it's just that it takes slightly longer.

Recently my wife's PGDM ( HR and Marketing) from IMT Nagpur is accessed as University Diploma by IQAS and not as Masters. Any idea why? And suggestions to improve the same.

Batch is 2009- 2011. Transcripts were directly sent by IMT Nagpur.

I guess it could be because when I did my MBA, IMT had a tie up with Burdwan University, which in-turn converted the PGDM into a degree. My transcripts were also sent directly by IMT, but then IQAS had kept my evaluation on-hold and asked me to get them sent via Burdwan University. This is the only difference that I can see.
I'm not sure if there's any other way to go around it other than trying your luck with another organisation if it's worth the wait and money.

The name of the program PGDM itself says "Post Graduate Diploma" so it wont' be evaluated as Masters.

Hey sorry, I missed your message. I was in 2005-2007 batch. I'm not sure till how long the tie up with Burdwan lasted, however, if the tie up did exist at the time your wife was studying there, she would have received a degree from them along with the marksheet.
