How is WES evaluating 6 month post graduate certificate? I see some getting 1 year equivalency and some don't :(

I think you should get it evaluated as a graduate certificate as it is a post graduate credential. May I ask which course you did and from where?

PG Certificate in Animation from University of Glasgow in Scotland.

Although it was a one year course as per the university but it was completed in 6 months. I read some certificates get 1 year equivalency and some don't. So wondering how WES evaluates these certificates.

Really desperate for extra points :(

I'm in the same boat but I have decided to rather go and study in Canada next year and assure my ITA. I suggest you do the same if you have the funds but ONLY if your certificate is not evaluated satisfactorily by WES. And don't lose hope buddy :)

Thank you :) I'm trying staying positive but it's quite hard. Wasted so much time and money on my PG Certificate :(

Hello Folks,

My Educational Qualification:-Senior secondary Class 12 + Three-year Polytechnic Diploma + four year Engineering Degree.

Here is my WES Report,

Educational Credential Assessment for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY

Diploma (two years) and bachelor's degree (four years)

I do believe I am eligible for “Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees, one must be for a program of three or more years.”

Can any senior member please confirm.

Hi where does PGDBM in finance stand in

1) 2 or more degrees
2) Masters
It depends on what your ECA will say.
Depends on school, country...etc.
But I believe it would be 2 or more, as it's technically not a Master's degree from my understanding.

Continuing my previous question in this thread, would be really grateful if anyone can throw some light on whether a 1 year PG Diploma from Annamalai University will be recognized as a valid qualification by WES.
