no problem , so the only reason they gave you was 60% marks or did by any chance they give you any formula or on degree itself it was 60% marks?I don’t have any idea
WES establishes its equivalency for master’s degrees earned at an Indian university that require a three-year bachelor’s degree for admission on quality indicators related to the underlying bachelor’s degree. Master’s degrees that build on a three-year bachelor’s degree awarded in the First Division by a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) “A” grade are regarded as comparable to a postgraduate diploma (one year). All others are regarded as comparable to a Canadian bachelor’s degree.no problem , so the only reason they gave you was 60% marks or did by any chance they give you any formula or on degree itself it was 60% marks?
But brother where is that 60% mentioned?WES establishes its equivalency for master’s degrees earned at an Indian university that require a three-year bachelor’s degree for admission on quality indicators related to the underlying bachelor’s degree. We reviewed your report and confirmed that it is correct. We would like to emphasize that WES evaluations are advisory opinions and not binding upon any institution or organization.
This was wes reply
O you must have A gradeBut brother where is that 60% mentioned?
I guess even A grade they will give as PG diploma or bachelors so no 3+2 degree is evaluted as master this means?O you must have A grade
Yes it should be of 6 yearsI guess even A grade they will give as PG diploma or bachelors so no 3+2 degree is evaluted as master this means?
IQAS will be accepted. It is mentioned on IRCC website as one of the 5 organizations ECA accepted by them. Can you tell me one thing that if i get results from IQAS in express entry they will accept? I mean is this same as wes i am confused whether it is applicable in express entry or not
This is right interpretation of WES report:-Hi all ,
I just got me and my wife's ECA report from WES as follows :
Diploma (3 Years Mechancial Engg after 10th Std ) > Canadian Equivalency: Diploma (two years)
B.Tech (3 Years Mechancial Engg after Diploma) > Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)
I have already made express entry profile , however we are getting less scores on Express Entry Profile compared to CRS score calculation tool , most probably because our qualification is not getting counted under 2 or more certificate category.
We have made separate entry for both Diploma and Bachelors and selected below options in express entry profile ,
For Diploma > 2 Year Program at a University , college , trade or technical school or other institute.
For Bachelors > Bachelors Degree or 3 Year Program at a University , college , trade or technical school or other institute.
Now, i seek guidance from all you experts for following ,
1) What option should i select under Diploma option so that our profile is considered under 2 or more certificate category.
2) Secondly should we really write to WES for considering Diploma under 3 year program classification. As i have already searched on many forums people with Diploma + BE / B Tech are getting Canadian Equivalency as Diploma 2 Years + Bachelors 4 Years.
I know its quite frustrating to raise same question over and over again in forum , but request you all to kindly guide. People with similar qualifications who have got PR via Express Entry / Consultants please help me with this dilemma !!
Thanking you all members ,
