ECA report, does hard copy required during visa application

Hi,

Since ECA report is provided to you online also apart from hard copy sent by post. I stay in India, can I choose a standard mail as it is cheaper to get the
hard copy. While i can use the online version to fill my express entry form, does that make any sense ?
