ECA related query

Dear Furum members

I have a query regarding Education credential assessment.

My wife has done:

1. Diploma in electronics and communications from India. It is done after finishing 10th class in India. It is 3 years course.

2. Bachelor of science (B.Sc.) in computer science from India. Three years course in India. But my wife got exemption of one year as she already finished her diploma prior to joining bachelors. She finished this course in 2 years only.

3. Master of computer applications (MCA) from India. Two years course in India. But again she finished this corse in one year as she again got exemtion of one year from her university due to her diploma and bachelors.

Now she require points for her masters degree only under FSWP. Do we need to get all the three viz. diploma, bachelors and masters evaluated from WES or sending only masters for evaluation will do?

Please advise suitably. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bhatia,
As per my knowledge you have to send all the Education certificates copies (with Transcript) so that they will evaluate accordingly... Good luck.

Thanx sunnypandu. However, I request other people too who are under similar circumstances to please share their experiences.

Further if anyone can answer one more query which i forgot to ask herein--> My wife completed her bachelors and masters through distance education (evening classes), while she used to attend her office in the morning. Will it cause any problem ?

Or only regular education/full time education is acceptable?

Hm it doesn't mater whether it's distance or regular, ECA will evaluate what ever you send but I am afraid they don't give much points for distance education, they compare our education certificates and the equalancy of Canadian education and provide accordingly.
