Hi guys!

My brother just received his ECA from IQAS. Kindly assist in evaluating if he is eligible for "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" option.

He has done a Three-year Bachelors (Honors) program and One-Year Master's (Hons) program.

LEVELS OF ACHIEVEMENT OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Home Country: -Bachelors Degree (Honours)
Three-year undergraduate degree program

-Master's of Business Administration
One Year Graudate Degree Program, following a three-year Bachelor's Degree

COMPARATIVE LEVELS OF ACHIEMENT IN CANADA:

The combination of the Bachelor's and the Master's degrees generally compares to the completion of a four-year Bachelor's degree

Thanks!

You should select the option for " Bachelor's degree of 4 or more years" in the drop down menu, since in this menu, 'Canadian equivalency' for all your education is asked for.

This is exactly what I got, same as you:
- bachelor got evaluated for a 3 year bachelor bachelor
- my one year post grad got evaluated as a 4 year bachelor
When crs showed me my score it calculated it as two degrees or more

Okay. But isn't it also applicable under 'two or more certificates' as both degrees r being recognized individually. The overall education might be termed as of bachelor's level but the two certificates form together to get that rating. No?

That's great. I have not made the profile yet, so we dont hav to select this option, the system will take information and decide for itself. Right?

Please follow this link for CRS calculation. It clearly states,
"Enter the highest level of education for which you:
- earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate; or
- had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)"

So, you are going to select the option which WES (or any other agency) has written in your report.
If your ECA report says "Bachelor's degree", then you should select that option, no matter how many degrees you have earned in your homeland.

This report shows your 'Canadian equivalency'. That's the reason why everyone has to get their credentials evaluated.

Hope I'm understood.

,,is bachelors and not double certificate as CIC follows WES ECA report (but my opinion)) ,,so you have 2 certificates but is Canadian equivalency of 4 years bachelors,, so is 4 years,,what school is your masters from.?
