ECA Pending from Calicut University for WES

Hi All,

Is there anyone completed WES ECA from Calicut University?
I went to Calicut university on April 1st,2015 and applied for transcript along with xerox of marklists and degree certificates.
But even now my WES status shows "Waiting for documents".
Anyone know how much time it takes for Calicut university to courier it?
Any phone number to call the department to check? Please respond.

I do not know if CU keeps the record of courier/speedpost(number), you may contact Verification Section, try on 2407216.

To avoid delay best would be go down there and check..Some of the Universities do not send the transcripts to WES. You will have to collect it nd get it sealed and send it yourself..

For Kerala University i had to follow up couple of times..However, for Kerala Universty I got it in almost a week..

my documents are received at wes. Now evaluation in progress. It took nearly 1 month to reach wes. They are really slow in sending the docs. May be they are using the regular courier service like india post.

Since yours took one month time, I will wait for few more days...
Was your case B-tech or MCA?

The person in B tech department said, all they need is xerox and transcript form....and the fee challan...

I heard that we might need to submit WES adacemic requst form.....did you submit this? I thought that this is not required....will this be a problem?

Yes . I submitted wes request form too. Mine was bsc computer science. Actually my relative went there for this thing. Im in Canada now.

Hi, I had my ECA done from WES from Calicut University. They sent within a week in my case. The document status changed in 3 weeks in WES from the day I submitted in the University. Try calling up the department where you submitted the Transcript application and find out when they actually sent it to WES.

I did my evaluation from Calicut University and they took more than a month to send the docs to WES.

Please find the desk number of Calicut University S1-S2 B.Tech department.

Try calling this number - 0494 2407471

S1-S2 department is taking care of all certificates and transcripts requirements of passed-out applicants.
Mention your name while calling. If you have the Current Number of application, they can give you the status more faster.

I know this include Rs. xx/Marklist + Rs. yy (Search Fee) + Rs. zz (postal fee)

the fee is no of ML* 1500+search fee (750) + courier 1050 Rs.....

Actually the fee is not that much,
its 300*no of marklists,1040 for canada courier,and the search fee
They have lowered the rates and maintained their efficiency as ever!

Yes, I too heard that the fees for transcript has been reduced in Calicut university effective from April.

Did you completed the EE profile.?
Do you have 400 + score?
When I calculate mine it is 336 ....hoping the draw score will come down...
Should we prepare any other documents while waiting for ECA, ITA etc...?
