ECA not required for spouse?

I want to apply for ECA for canada immigration along with my spouse. For getting more marks I want ECA of my spouse to get done by WES.

The problem is that my spouse education documents are in her prior marriage surname and after marriage her surname is changed which is updated in passport, pan card ,aadhar card and bank accounts.

Will There be any problem if I put her after marriage surname in profile creation data whereas documents will be in her prior marriage surname.

Please guide.

Typically when filling out the details for the ECA, you fill out the name in two places:

1. The official CURRENT name as visible in your spouse's passport
2. Name as shown on the degree/diploma certificate.

So requesting a ECA report should not be an issue.

However, it would be recommended that, when it comes to the actual application (BEFORE AND AFTER getting the Invitation to Apply), you should mention that your spouse was known by another name/alias. Once you get the invitation and are filling out the actual PR Application, at that point, under the legal name change documents, should you provide name change affidavits / legal paperwork.

You may include, in your Letter of Explanation (done AFTER the invitation when filling out the Actual PR app), that the ECA report and your spouse's degree certs mention her maiden name and that her name after marriage is as shown in her passport.

Hey guys, this is in relation to PNP. If I get nominated for a stream that does not require my wife to have an ECA or IELTS and I get nominated, do I still need to get these documents when I apply for non express entry PR?
