ECA guidelines

Hello,

I have recently completed my ECA with WES and they've given my 2 year PGDM course the Canadian equivalence of a 1 year Diploma course.
A friend of mine who had completed the same 2 year course from the same college was given a 2 year Masters degree equivalence by WES (her ECA was done about 3 years ago)

Have the guidelines/criteria changed for the assessment? If so, could someone here help me find these criteria please?
I would like to check if I can get a certificate etc from the university, for the ECA to be reconsidered.
Also considering redoing the ECA with some other agency but I guess if the change in criteria is universal, then it might be pointless for me to retry.
Can anyone guide me with this please?

You can contact WES and ask about this, but most probably they will not change the assessment.

The criteria is different for each ECA agency. You can go with CES or IQAS for the assessment of your PGDM.

I had no idea that the criteria is different for each ECA agency! I assumed there were common guidelines for the assessment.
I'll go with CES or IQAS then, thank you very much!

Would it be alright for me to use the WES assessment for my Bachelor's degree and the new (either CES or IQAS) assessment for my Masters degree?
Or would I need to redo the assessment for both degrees from the same ECA agency?

You can use different ECAs.
