ECA FSW Canada- Clarification on First name and Last name

Hi,

I am from India looking to apply for Education credential Assessment (ECA) for FSW Canada. I prefer to submit the transcripts to WES for the ECA.

But I need clarification on the below:

1) As per the Passport my name is:

FIRST NAME: Abdul Samath

SURNAME: Mohammed Farook


2) As per my education certificates my name is:

Name: Abdul Samath M

Where ‘M’ is the initial – which is my father name “Mohammed Farook”


a) Do I need to submit any additional document for the clarification about First name and Last name while sending the transcripts to WES for ECA FSW Canada ?

b) While filling the WES-ECA application, Is it fine to give the First name and Last name as per details on the Indian passport ?


I am using the same details as per the passport name in IELTS exam.

ON all your educational docs it will be difficult to change name but in passport you can make a change of name but you will have to publish in newspaper about change of name. Check the formalities with passport office .

Can you please let me know how it went? Were you able to get the WES evaluation with the name mentioned as per your passport? If so what was the process you followed to request WES to provide the evaluation report as per your passport name format? I am in a similar situation and the information you provide will help me a great deal!!

I have a query related to WES account creation,
In my passport:
Given Name: MYNAME FATHER'SNAME
Surname: SURNAME

Now in WES for there are 3 fields,
Given Name:
Middle Name:
Family Name:

What should I put here? Should I put FATHER'SNAME in Middle Name and Only MYNAME in Given Name or
MYNAME FATHER'SNAME in Given Name and leave Middle Name blank?
